I've been called for jury duty a few times, but never had to go. Made it clear that I had opinions and I thought they where intitled to them. LOL

I had a great week-end.

Case,
Ha! I second that recommendation and bring a book about the many uses of tin foil! Never heard of one but i bet there is a book detailing such matters... :>)

bbc,
Good that you voiced it.

Peace.

I must be a geek, I think jury duty would be fun. But since I want to do it, I never get selected.

I sat on a jury for a mock trial for the Notre Dame U. Law school, it was very interesting, especially seeing how lawyers manipulate laws and testimony.

Of course my luck, when I do finally get selected, it'll be some boring corporate law trial, do they have juries for those trials?

I sat on a jury for a mock trial once also, they paid me fifty bucks an hour to do it. They never invited me back. LOL

I served on a murder - manslaughter trial three and a half years ago. Exhausting. But I'd do it again in a minute. We convicted. Manslaughter. At one point, I told everyone else, you won't convict of murder because I won't agree. It was a tragedy all around, the crime and the conviction. They need folks like you on juries.

My wife has been called and had to serve twice. I never have. Knock on something.

I skipped out on jury duty, but we do need people who will serve. Pick up a really good book azgoddess and best of luck with it all.

I spent my weekend with studies and watching some really funny cat videos that had me laughing all day. Great way to distress :-)

May I suggest Grishoms' Runaway Jury for reading material? Good luck on your jury day.
