i had a few questions this morning
as i drove into work
how come that jewelry store
on the corner for ten's of years
was replaced by a Cingular store?
how come corps advertise on tv
spending millions/billions of dollars
and we still have-ta pay
to watch their crap?

I don't pay to watch their crap, I don't watch their crap. :-)
I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer, "yes."
He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work...
I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site
That I got SO way into...
I was into it all night...Sigh
Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney.
Don't tell Mother I'm at the library, she thinks I'm at the whorehouse. 'smirk'
Actually, I think my browser might be broke, I should have a look at firefox. Have a great day. Hugs.
One of my favorite books, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn", Thanks. I have always been drawn to stories where the lead character is a young girl. "To Kill a Mockingbird","The Heart is A Lonely Hunter","Bean Trees", and many more, I can't think of them all now.
I think it is because my thoughts are similar to the protagonists in those novels.
Peace.
I just installed a Firefox browser and everything is working fine. I'm used to Blogger screwing up, but that won't lock up my computer.
In fact Firefox seems a bit faster also. Only I have to figure out how to get my links to open with it.
Great poems!
One a day keeps the doctor away :)
I have link to blogs like yours in a folder on my desktop. They wanted to open in Explorer, but I told Firefox to be the default and they are working fine now.
bbc - Firefox is the best. I still use AOL (12-year habit), but I try to do most of my blogging on Firefox. Much better experience!
Oh my goodness, Azgoddess, this is one of my favorite books! Thanks for that link.
I've read a Tree Grows in Brooklyn many times already, and I still laugh and cry each time I read it.
It is such a beautiful story and it is really based on her life.
You still work? Well doesn't that just suck... I used to think that work was the world, then I discovered the world. But work did give me a lot of experiences and skills as I've mostly done work that required using my hands a lot.
And longhaul truck driving took me to many places and I saw many things.
