"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other."
Sure. It's a fine little quote and all, but I am perplexed by it. I belong to no one! I pay my taxes, buy gas and oil and eat out at McDonalds and fine dine at Burger King and buy my groceries at Wal-Mart and have my oil changed there too. Nobody owns me, little sister!
Now if you'll excuse me I have to set the timer on the recorder so I won't miss tonights American Idol. Yip. Me and the wife and the child are going to see the latest greatest that American cinema has to offer! Afterwards we'll talk about brown people and after my wife and child are fast asleep, I'll put a bullet in the gun. Why? Because nobody owns me...

Walking for Peace.

At your behest, I've composed a post on the trip to Merced. Thanks for prompting me to do it. It felt good to express my feelings about it.
