jury duty, for real this time

well, it got postponed the first time

but i gotta go today

but

i wanted to leave you with something

my son called me on his way from the emergency room
last week...he thought he was having a heart attack

so i met him there and waited for his wife
to get a sitter for there little one
and come

and i sat with him while loads of medical professionals
came in and out of his room

all asking him pretty much the same questions
like
do you take any medications?

seems, my friends, that all kinds of meds
can cause heart attack like symptoms
huh??

so they are feeding us this crap like candy
and in all actuality
it's
killing us!

Note: he's fine, it was just stress overload
he's healthy as a horse!

***

and now for something completely different : Rapture

Yeah, stress overload, know all about that, most of us must, things just seem extra stressful these days. But I don't take any meds other than vitamin pills and sometimes an asprin.

Have fun at jury duty hon.

maybe just a little wake-up call to your son to alter what things he can to reduce stress in his life? Even tho' I'm glad they're there, I hate hospitals, very scary places to me.

you go deliver justice today, az, goddess style! ~~ D.K.

I'm glad your boy is OK!

Ditto on what case wagenvoord said. I know about this stuff. A cardiologist can do the proper testing, determinations and diagnosis.

I hope the jury duty goes smoothly for you.

glad he is okay!

Your son needs to find ways to relax; that must have been one scare, but I'm glad he is okay. Everyone is feeling very stressed out these days (our lives are very stressful and this leads to health problems).

Good luck with the jury duty, and I hope you found a good book to read. Thought about any John Grisham novels?

az: Glad your son's okay. Had to be some pretty tense moments while in the ER.

A nephew, who is a pharma rep, visited over the weekend from Dallas. In a relaxed moment after a couple of beers, he expressed his fear pharmas may actually be helping diseases become more virulent so as to sell more drugs to cure them!

Or maybe they'll continue to refine the definition of high blood pressure til anything above 100/60 is hypertension. We can become a nation of Prinivil and Norvasc addicts! That way, when we get together with our conservative friends, we'll have something to talk about. (We sure as hell don't want to broach the topic of war with 'em.)

So, did you make the jury? I begin fed'l jury duty tomorrow?--maybe--supposed to call 'em after 5:00 p.m. for my instructions. Being it's Halloween, this must be some kind of trick?

Reading over their requirements, they don't even allow reading material of any kind. How the hell is one supposed to stay awake?!

I'm glad your son is okay. Need to start some relaxation techniques.

I hope the jury duty isn't too stressful for you.

We'll be thinking about you.
