happ-ee fri-day!

whew...

and here we are
another
workweek
gone by

and what
do we have to
show for it?

well
i'm gonna
tell you-all
a little secret here

i wish
that i could
be doing
something
to better our
small blue planet

i dream of
companies
owned by the people
who work in them,
who's mission
is to
'do no harm'

creative companies
where the bottom line
is not
how cheap to make
how much to sell

but

how best
to make a product
that lasts a long
long time
and
have minimal impact
on our mother earth
and
that 90 percent
of our population
can afford
and use/need

i dream some day
of creating these
companies
helping their birth
and then
watching,
as you watch a toddler take it's first steps,
them grow
and prosper
and then,
like a young adult
no longer needing me,
able to survive
on it's own

looking back
only to smile
and say thanks
