i've been
wondering lately
how can
just one
person
change
the world?
and i'm reminded
of two people
mother theresa
and
gandhi
both of
them
had a
positive
effect
on literally
millions of
people
and there
are more
who follow in their footsteps
or
create their
own peace
every
single
day
now
where
am i going with this?
what i propose
is to stop
watching tv
stop reading
and absorbing
the constant crap
they want us to
fill
our minds
with
and start creating our own joy and peace!
like take
time this
weekend
to step outside
and enjoy
the beautiful
world
which surrounds
us
created and
maintained
by mother nature
close your eyes and
just breath
Peace peace peace!

Georgie III changed the world, and he's one man! Hell, he's half a man.
You can turn off your TV and stop reading. I personally don't think that Smallville and Buffy comics have an agenda!
That video was hilarious.
I'm with you on turning off the TV, I can't find anything interesting worth watching. That's why I hang out in blogs and bookstores.
I'm with you on this. There is nothing on TV worth watching - well maybe the Daily Show for some levity, but that's about it. I'm with you are creating all the peace and joy you can because it does make a difference. Gratitude, too. That's the most important attitude and it's so easy.
Off with the TV!
My TV hasn't been hooked to anything but a VCR and DVD player for a long time.
As for Gandhi, he really hasn't changed the world all that much. A lot of folks like some of his thoughts, and then promptly forget them.
All he really does is sit back and live of the fat of the land and his followers without doing any honest work.
How long do you think it's been since he held a protest sign? Has he ever?
I wonder
Why ponder what they have done
Ponder what you have done
Have you joined a peace protest and held a sign?
I don't think our blogs are helping much, that we need to be more visible on the streets.
One person CAN change the world. Even if it's just in little ways, we all make a difference.
Great post, az.
