floors laid

not sure
if you-all
remember

but i'm redoing
my house

and had gutted
the second
and third
bedrooms

well
they came monday
and laid the oak wood floors
(tuesday
i had some tile
put in my living room
in anticipation
of a fireplace ~
all part of
my future
off the grid)

so i've been thinking
now that i
laid
a good
strong
foundation
(like we
have?
with our congress?)

it's time to think about
what i'm going to place
in these rooms..

or not place in these rooms

any suggestions?

love you-all!! hugs!!

How about some gorgeous floor rugs? Like art on the floor.

A home is never finished. It's an ongoing project. Whatever you do, I'm sure it will belong in a home. Happy Valentines and Peace!

Is your F/P going to be real masonry one? Are you going to run some heatilator vents from it to other parts of your home? Do you have a place for an interior Trombe Wall that will pick up passive solar heat on winter days & radiate it back at night? I'd also love to hear some of your energy-saving summer cooling methods for getting off the grid when summers reach the 110's. You always have unusual ideas. The floor sounds beautiful. ~~ D.K.

I remembered that you are doing that.

Are they floating floors?

I think that you should do what you like with your rooms. I won't have any ideas until I move in.

He, he, he.

I don't pay much attention to a home and what a lady wants in it as long as I have one room for my books, computer, etc. And a shop outside.

Happy Valentines day. Hugs
