Yes, lose the Patriot Assact 1st! I looked at your link to some of those dumb laws for my state. Too funny: illegal to hunt whales ... we are a landlocked state, where are all these whales?
But they also listed as dumb, a law I would NOT want to give up: illegal to detonate any nuclear weapon. That's a good start IMO, now if only we could figure out how to stop fallout, too. ~~ D.K.
I hope this congress can repeal the Patriot Act and all the other stupid laws the previous rubber stamp Republican congress put in place. Taking Gonzo out will be a good start.
Laws are like signs. "Do this, don't do that, can't you read the signs"
But, if you can't walk on the grass, how will you ever know how wonderful it feels on your bare feet.
If we always color inside the lines, how will we ever create new experiences.
Do it our way, or you're a criminal, doesn't sound like freedom or patriotism. It's the opposite.

Those dumb laws are hilarious. I was born and raised in San Diego and had no idea I had to take my Christmas lights down by February. Or that I couldn't shoot jackrabbits from the back end of a street car.
San Francisco had some pretty funny ones also
If you don't like laws try living without them.
