That we actually pay for advertisers to come into our homes and turn us into consumers.
Commercials
How much yearly do you pay for dish TV, cable or??? Don't you think it should be free considering that the TV shows are actually filler for the commercials?
Did you ever notice that the more commercialized TV you watch, the more stuff you want/have to own?
now some good news links: Gristmill, Ecorazzi, and TreeHugger.

This is why I refuse to pay for television. But I have become modern - I joined netflix ...
I don't have dish TV or cable. I only watch TV when I want to watch a movie.
That was a great video.
Electric cars are cool, but too expensive for a lot of consumers. I'll just stick with my electric scooter for now.
I think that this recession talk is very interesting. And that it's going to be a dandy. That's okay, I'm all set up and ready for it. It's everyones needs and greeds that cause them.
A recession is needed to bring things back in alignment, balance. humans, they'll never get it right I guess.
I just looked at the Tree Hugger link. Ha, ha, ha.
I like #10 the best.
"Nothing’s quite worse than meeting some really promising guy or girl and then realizing that he or she is an Escalade-driving, non-recycling, Earth fucker-upper."
Yeah, happens to me a lot, but you can't convert them so I just forget and move on.
A lot of people think they are ecologists if they recycle some.
I NEVER watch commercials AZ. Our satellite dish receiver is a DVR (similar to TIVO). I record anything I'm even remotely interested in & FFWD through all ads. Or I Live-Pause & let the program get a few minutes ahead of me, so I can zap through those commercials, too. How much does this cost? An extra $10/mo.
this was a great post AZ....
